Hell for residents and tourists in hotels as Marina Bay construction noise goes on and on

STOMPer Suzanne is upset that the authorities do not control the late night noise pollution from the contruction sites of the Marina Bay IR, causing discomfort to residents and tourists living nearby.

Says this STOMPer:

"Are there no controls on late noise pollution from construction sites in Singapore?

"I realise that the IR and related building projects have time constraints, but for those of us living in the Marina Bay area, why do we have to put up with ‘piling’ that starts, without fail at 11pm and continues until the early hours of the morning?

"Our sleep is disrupted constantly and it will also affect tourists, spending valuable dollars, staying in nearby hotels."
